Small Group Bookings
Bendigo Backpackers is suitable for many small groups visiting Bendigo for sightseeing, competition, cultural, school camp or training purposes. Our large house sleeps up to 27 people in six rooms, with a variety of bedroom configurations. The comfortable and relaxing communal areas mean your group can dine, interact and socialise together away from sleeping quarters, and larger group bookings ensure you have exclusive use of the house during your stay.
The private, central and low-cost nature of our accommodation makes it ideal for budget-conscious travel groups. Breakfast
and other meals can easily and inexpensively be prepared in our large open-style kitchen, while our
courtyard makes an enjoyable place to relax outdoors as a group.
Some of the groups who have found Bendigo Backpackers perfectly suited their accommodation requirements include:
- Contractors, tradesmen and other workers
- Apprentices undertaking trade school classes
- Participants in sporting and other competitions
- Family group weekends
- Sports groups on end-of-season trips
- School camp groups
Note: End-of-season sporting groups should book through Footy Trips.
School Camp Groups
The Australian Gold Rush—a period spanning 1850-1900—is a popular theme for study during primary school. Gold was discovered along the banks of the Bendigo Creek in 1851, starting a major gold rush and making Bendigo an ideal place for students to have a variety of authentic experiences that bring this period in history to life. Download this sample of proposed activities for a 2-day camp centred on the Australian Gold Rush theme.
Whether it's a school camp or other small group booking, we can help you plan your stay and get the most out of your
